Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George 

Oh, these Third Order Regular Franciscan sisters are a lovely community! I especially appreciated all the photos they so generously shared throughout their site, and I really liked the ones of some sisters making their final profession of vows in 2005 -- the closeup of their hands in a circle is so moving.

This is a good reminder for us all to pray for an increase in vocations to the religious life, secular orders, and the priesthood. (Well, actually, God has never stopped calling us, so it's more accurate to pray for an increase in folks hearing and answering His calls.)

i just happened to come across this looking to see if anyone had posted pictures from this years profession. they had profession of their new sisters this past week on the 15th. say a prayer for them all and for us future members
