Franciscan Focus

Just a simple blog of a Secular Franciscan trying to live with a Franciscan focus.
(And one of these days I'll fix the template and add a Search feature. :-P)

Wonderful Sacred Heart image

I've mentioned before how much I enjoy the blog, Holy Cards for Your Inspiration -- never fails to give me a lift. :-)

Micki's advance post, October 18 I Believe, especially moved me. There's something immensely humbling in picturing Jesus as a little child, and the image of Him holding aloft His Sacred Heart with the accompanying text, "See, oh see / How I love thee", struck me deeply.

It reminded me again what an breathtaking act of humility it is for the Creator of the universe to come to us as a Child, and also in the form of bread and wine.

Amazing.
